Can I return something to Wal-Mart without a price tag?

I bought two small carpets for my classroom, cut off the price tags and threw them away. This was literally within the last four days. As long as you have your cash register receipt it doesn%26#039;t matter about the price tag. They will take them back as long as you didn%26#039;t let the dog poop on them.
