So if a person has a change of heart and decides switching price tags is wrong and doesnt buy that item?

so yea she did switch the price tags then realized it was wrong and decided she didnt want it after all . The friend decides who had not know about the tags being switched do buy that clothing. But still the person that swap the tags was charged with theft do you think charges should be dropped because she did the wrong thing by switching but the right by not buying?|||I think yes, because the intent and the action is still there. There was still a purchase of the item, and the store was still in the position to lose money. If she really wanted to do the right thing, she should%26#039;ve switched the tags back.

Also...the store could not have known she wasn%26#039;t working with an accomplice. It%26#039;s going come down to what the judge believes to be the truth.|||At first I didn%26#039;t think %26quot;theft%26quot; would be the right charge, but in thinking about it, it was, in fact, stealing from the company. The switcher defrauded the store and almost caused them to lose money, based on the tag switching.

That is such a shame. I wonder whether theft will go on her permanent record? It%26#039;s so sad, because she seemed to have a change of heart and thought she was not doing the wrong thing. :(
