Offeror simply change the good's price.?

Morgan placed an advertisement in the daily express to sell a 2nd hand pick up truck that he own and also sell various items such as lap-top computer, a fan, books and an electric oven were displayed with price tags attached.

Beatrice saw the advertisement and called Morgan saying that she would tahe the said pick up truck at the price stated. Morgan by the time has change his mind to keep the pick up truck, therefore he told Beatrice that he had decided against selling the vehicle, but that he might sell it if beatrice would pay Euro6,000 for it. Beatrice immediately agreed to the price but Morgan vacillated, saying that he would not sell the car after all..

How is the situation if is this? Thanks you very much..|||A deal is not a deal until both parties have agreed to complete it. Morgan is entitled not to sell his vehicle if he wishes.|||Offer, and acceptance. The hallmark of a contract. But since its all oral it would be very hard to prove.|||advertisements are not an offer, they are an invitation to treat (look up errr...iv forgotten the name of it. i think it had something to do with Boots Cash Goods Chemist, but could be wrong).

then, Morgan was not offering to sell it for 6000, he was merely making a statement of fact about the lowest price he might accept. i can%26#039;t remember the precedent.

but there is no valid offer and acceptance, hence there is no contract.
