I changed the price tag of this thing... wat will happen now....????

today i went to marshalls and saw this awesome purse it was 100 bucks.. i really wanted it so i took out the price tag of another purse that was 10 bucks and put on the 100 dollar tag... i did in a corner and i saw there was no camera above my head... i acted as i was looking at some belts and did it between them... so i went to the counter she scanned and i was ready to pay but tag was not properly stuck and it came off a little bit So she removed the whole thing and scanned it and told me that the original price was 100 bucks and that someone had put a different tag on it.. and i acted all shocked and told really r u sure and she said sorry so i said its ok and walked out of the store but im very much terrified.. i was very scared do u think the cashier would look into the videos and try to find out who did it.... or am i save after changing the tag i was in the store for 1/2 and hour no one came to me or asked anything... if they had seen me changing the tag they would have come ..|||What you did is classed as fraud and you could of been liable to prosecution. I work as a security guard and what might of happened behind the scenes is that the camera operator was waching you and waiting for you to pay for the item and then stoping you after you passed there last payment point before aprehending you. After passing a last payment point with goods not paid for means that you do not intend to pay for the item.

So what will happen now?

What might happen is they would take a still picture of your face and file a report on what happened and show the picture to all the security guards so when you come in next time they will follow you around knowing that you might do something. This is a long shot as it all depends on whether the guards saw what you was doing.

You should never do something like this again. Its not worth it belive me...|||You aren%26#039;t likely to get in trouble, but take it as a lesson. You got lucky that you DIDN%26#039;T commit fraud.|||What you are feeling is guilt and fear. It means that you have a conscience and know the difference between right and wrong. If you listen to your conscience like this and do the right thing you won%26#039;t have to worry about feeling like this again and you%26#039;ve learned a big lesson. If you violate your conscience and keep doing bad things eventually your conscience will stop bothering you as much and you can really turn into a terrible person. Take this experience and use it for good.
