Yesterday we went to the mall and my friend stoled some earrings from Claire%26#039;s and the lady in the register saw her from the mirror :S and she came over by her but by that time she had it in her pocket then i went to pay and so she came to pay for me and my friend left and when i payed she said
changing price tags is a thieft too.
and im like i didnt do anything and shes like i kno but if u hang out with ppl like dat ur gonna go to jail too.

and shes like i was just bragging about how i ddidnt have to take anyone to jail this week and then i left and looked for her and i found her and she was crying and she said she was sorry and she threw the earring in the trash bcuz she was very upset of what she did..

do u think the cops will do anything|||No, I don%26#039;t think that anything will happen in this case to do with the police. If the woman in the shop was going to do anything she would of called them immeadietly.
I also doubt that you would be arrested too. The woman was probably just trying to scare you.
Your friend seems to regret what she did and maybe was just trying it out and didn%26#039;t like it.
However, I would make sure that you keep an eye on her to make sure that she doesn%26#039;t do it again, for her sake, as this could end her in alot of trouble, and if your very very unlucky you too although this is as i said unlikely.
You seem like a good friend to be concerned about your mate like this. I%26#039;m sure everything will be fine.
If you want help I would maybe tell your parents or an older sister or brother who you trust.
I wouldn%26#039;t tell any friends who you are not 100% trustworthy of just incase they tell someone else and a rumour gets strted which will only upset your friend more. She deserves the chance to make up for what she did as she only did it once. If she did it alot then things would be different.

The best thing she should have taken them back and payed for them. That would have been the most honorable thing to do, especially since she was upset by what she did. It would have made her feel better and the store would have probably been easier,
