Is it stealing if you take off the original price tag and put on a much lower cost price tag?

Suppose I see something I want. But I don%26#039;t think I should have to pay the price they ask. I admit that SOME price is fair...but not THAT one. So I change it. Is that okay?|||You don%26#039;t have the authority to change prices to what you think is %26quot;fair%26quot;. Only the store does.

If you don%26#039;t want to pay the full price, then don%26#039;t buy it. That%26#039;s how stores figure out what prices are fair and what are not anyway.|||Uhhh...NO. The store sets the price for the item, if you don%26#039;t like that price...don%26#039;t buy that item, but to change the price, is stealing $ from the store. If you only gave the electric company what you thought you owed them, they%26#039;d cut your power off, and if the store catches you and can prove you did that, you%26#039;re going to have problems, just as if you walked out without paying anything for it.|||Yes it%26#039;s stealing. It%26#039;s like stealing but leaving behind something else in the store. It%26#039;s not up to you how much things should cost. How do you know any way? Maybe the thing took a lot of work, maybe it was made by a blind 3 year old with no fingers, maybe it had to be shipped from Peru. If you don%26#039;t like the price then be honest about it, trying to trick the store into giving it to you cheaper is terrible. Either haggle, or leave it.|||yes it is stealing! the advice i can give you is that you should research the product and see if you can find somewhere else for a cheaper price! also try to think logically about why the price would be that. think about the material costs and about the labor that was put into making the product.|||You see dude some things in life just aren%26#039;t fair, no matter what you do. But, that doesn%26#039;t mean you should go bellow your level of self respect and change the price tag man. Just accept it and go on, you don%26#039;t have to buy it.|||If everyone did this... There would be no stores left to steal from! They would all go out of business!

The answer to your question is..... No, if you are the owner of the store and yes, if you are not.|||Sure , You are the one who made the object right , I mean , it is your merchendice that you were selling , and you just din%26#039;t want as much profit right ? NO ? then idiot .|||Bar code will determine the price. Generally these days, the billing is made with the help of bar code only. It automatically prints the price.|||When the store plays it back on Video for you,

after you walk out of the store,

ask them the same thing. %26lt;}:-})-{*|||It is theft, and is not ok. If you don%26#039;t think the price is fair, then don%26#039;t buy from that store.|||If you do not mind a criminal record or possible incarceration|||the direct answer is yes.|||ummm yes? are you fukkkkin retarded
