As most of you know the ps3 has decreased to $399 price. I have been waiting for three years for it to go down to a reasonable price now that it has signifacantly dropped from its original $600 price tag im considering buying it. My parents believe it is still expensive and should at least come out with a game however they dont really know what it does so how could they say if its worth it or not. Anyway recently after the ps3 price drop xbox cut down there prices by $50 n ps3 is still the most expensive model. IS the ps3 worth it? I dont have any problems that its not backwards compatible since i didnt have any ps2 games. With the economy this bad and with the xbox being cheaper do any of you believe there might be a decrease in price by christmas or even for a limited time on black friday.
I also recently heard that they might be changing the ps3 cell processor to 45nm which will give it less power consumption but might end up leading to a slimmer ps3 with less graphic capability as this one has...

i honestly wouldnt.
i have nothing against the playstation but simply they have no good games coming out.
i mean God of War 3 and Little Big Planet... but the PS3 is basically a really expensive DvD player.
my uncles' brother bought one and thats all he uses it for.
dvds and the occasional game.
the 360 has a lot of game of the year titles and many more sequals to come out. such as Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Halo 3, and many more.
i would buy the 360
