Yeah, I bet they have gold faucets and gold toilet seats there, too, just like Saddam. You people really amaze me that you actually think that our government is in any way like Hussein's. Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe it needs to be well fortified because of the terrorists that are still looming about and murdering hundreds of innocents everyday because you people won't let the military do their jobs the way it needs to be done and that maybe, just maybe fortification comes at a high dollar amount. Not fortifying it would come at a greater price.
I wouldn't say anything built by the government to be lavish. Its expensive because its a seccure compound complete with one bedroom apartments for the employees.
