Will BP get off the hook by simply changing its name like Exon did after the Exon Valdiz oil spill?

Exon-Mobil dropped the %26quot;Exon%26quot; permanently immediately following the huge oil spill off the coast of Alaska and they were suddenly a %26quot;new%26quot; company not responsible for the clean up price tag. Will BP do the same - re-invent itself as a dif company and get away with this oil tragedy?

Yes
Will BP get off the hook by simply changing its name like Exon did after the Exon Valdiz oil spill?
that's strange i work for Exxon and to the best of my knowledge my company has not changed its name it is written all over my work truck
It's spelled %26quot;Exxon%26quot; and there was no name change.
First, it's Exxon with 2 X's. They did not drop the name, they are still Exxon/Mobil.

BP will never get off the hook for this no matter what they might do.
They have been in court for 20 years now over the Prince Williams Sound spill. They should have saved the lawyer fees and just paid up.
