How will the IPL change next year?

With the cheaper franchises such as Rajasthan Royals and Kings Xi performing well while more expensive ones like the Royal Challengers and Deccan Chargers, how will things change next season? Surely the more expensive players such as $1.35m Andrew Symonds can't justify their price tag while players like $100,000 Sohail Tanvir have performed brillianntly.
How will the IPL change next year?
Since the contract with the players is for a minimum period of 3 years, franchisees have no option but to carry on with the existing players. However, from February 2009, there is a provision of trading of players by which playersfrom one team to another can be traded by mutual consent of players and franchisees.
How will the IPL change next year?
IMO, all you who keep whingeing about what they paid Symonds are not in agreement with cricket India or the person who owns his team. Why just Symonds? What about some of those so called Indian greats who failed to perform? Get a life, %26amp; to answer the first part of your Q, I hope it disappears forever.
Offering Andrew 1.5m shows that how little the buyer knows about cricket! Tanvir is worth every penny he has been given and there are others who have done exceedingly well in terms of what they have been paid for this season. My guess is that there will be many new teams participating in T20 next year. Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, and other senior players are making a killing but things will change next year. Did you know that Pointing was bought like he was a week old tomato? I'm not sympethic toward him for some reasons but just showing you how strange are the ways of team owners in IPL.
Next year there will more competition for IPL. As other countries set up their own comps, there may not be as many foreign players to draw from, so *your* problems with the cost of players just might go away.
why are you only talking about symo he didn't perform that bad in the matches he played Why dont you talk about Uthappa his performance was poor an there are many young Indian players like Ishant Sharma who didn't perform well

And Yes player's performance will affect their price tag
according to me ipl would be same next year also

yes players who have not given upto there expectations 's rate will surely go down

whether its symonds , gibbs , styris or indian player like jaffer , dravid and many more

the players who hav performed exceptionally well would hav higher rates

like marsh , gambhir , warne , watson, tanvir

but i wish paisa performance par bhari naa pade

and they keep performing well and continue to be mach winners
Hmmm....I don't think they'll be any change in the IPL coz whtever it is now it is perfect. The change as per Modi will be only after a couple of years...that is we'll have 2 seasons of IPl rather than 1...but now I guesss it's unlikely to change. And as you've mentioned the cheaper and costly teams...well who knows we can see something else in the next IPL like you know DC or RCB coming out as winners?I guess this could happen..and the price money and the Symonds cost and all nothing will change. It will remain the same...coz they have purchased them(The players)for the next three years..so no change:)

And yes hopefully we'll see all the Australians playing the next year and hopefully WI's wont organise another test match during the IPL season....So I guess tht will be lot of fun but as per the cost and all ur talking about I don't think they'll be any change and yes there is no comparision b/n Sohail and Symonds coz Symmo was not even there for the whole torunment...so u can't say nething about it at the moment so, I guess we'll have to wait for the next season to talk about this matter!!!:)

EDIT:-There could be some increase in rates for u know the people who have played exceptionally well that is Tanvir,Niraj Patel,Jadega,Venugopal Rao,Marsh..etc
THE PLAYERS MAY BE CHANGED.
there will be more teams and more players
